Murder in Baldur's Gate
Upper City Lockout
Under the guise of protecting the Upper City from the growing troubles plaguing the Lower City and Outer City the Parliament of Peers passed yet another new law sponsored by Duke Torlin Silvershield. Traditionally, non-residents of the Upper City were allowed to remain in the area until dusk. The new rules sets the time to 3 bells – significantly limiting the amount of time Lower City merchants can sell their goods in The Wide and posing problems for Outer City workers that need to pass through in order to return home after work.
The penalty for violating the curfew is a night spent in the Watch Citadel’s jails.
Thanks to Alberich the party does not have trouble getting through the curfew… for now.
